 What do Finance Graduates Do?

There are several positions that students take upon graduating with a degree in Finance. Many of CBE graduates in finance take the following positions: bank management trainee, credit analyst, financial analyst, financial planner, and stockbroker.  From these entry-level positions, Finance graduates advance to a wide variety of positions, such as commercial loan officer, mortgage loan officer, bank manager, portfolio manager, credit manager, and chief financial officer.  Many of our Finance graduates also end up in positions in other functional areas within the firm, most notably strategic planning.

A sample of positions in the Finance division of a major corporation is shown by PDF file the exhibit displayed here.  The website www.careers-in-finance.com provides a very useful source of information on these positions.

Note: PDF file Indicates a PDF file which requires the Acrobat Reader to view. Follow the download software link to download this free plug in, if necessary.
